The book has some good reminders of things you can do to help you lose weight.
Of course, thinking positive is one.
The information was good. Unfortunately, it really wasn't anything I hadn't read many times before. I'm still looking for that special something that will make my mind control my eating.
This book was really wonderful. This book really opened my eyes! Everything she said was true and made perfect sense to me. Everyone who needs to lose weight should read this book.She dosnt just babble on, she just gets right to the point.
Great book for a quick read, and to pick up a tip here or there. Nothing earth shattering or new, but good solid advice.

I liked the suggestion that watching a movie on the treadmill may not get you the results that simply listening to music will
provide. Something to seriously consider.

Good advice that helps a person reframe thinking that perpetuates overweight into thinking that could drive changes in perspective, and then ultimately behavior that will get you to the goal.
This book briefly discusses 10 thoughts that you may have about your body and weight. She discusses how the thought hurts you and how to change the thought. For some people this book may give you the springboard on how to change your thoughts, but I don't think it has enough details on exactly what to do in different situations when the thought occurs, for example, location 329 she says there are lots of non food ways to deal with stress, but she gives you only two very vague ways and no resources to find these helpful tools.

For 99 cents it may be a useful tool to start your process.
This short book actually has useful and some convincing information for weight loss. It doesn't try so hard to motivate you by using emotionally laden words but by speaking in a straightforward tone. After reading it, I lost a few pounds because I wanted to think I was mature enough to handle my cravings. Unfortunately, I went back to my old habits again. It may or may not work for anyone. It does nail it down to the fact that losing weight is a mindset (unless you have health issues)
